Embark on a journey into the realm of 'Youth, Truth, and Imagination,' an annual collective exhibition that promises to weave a captivating narrative inspired by the lives of our fourteen artists. The Joseph D. Carrier Art Gallery is set to transform into a vibrant hub of pure imagination, where stories of everyday life, diaspora, feminism, and queer and racial identities transcend into abstract fictitious masterpieces. With a mesmerizing collection spanning painting, paper cuts, sculpture, and textile works, the exhibition invites you to explore the boundless depths of creative expression.

While the Joseph D. Carrier Gallery has proudly extended the legacy of Italian arts and culture, this rendition of 'Youth, Truth, and Imagination' is a deliberate departure from tradition. Embracing the rich multicultural tapestry of its surrounding community, the exhibition seeks to provide a platform for underrepresented voices. In a conscious effort to challenge historical imbalances in Italian art, the spotlight is largely on female artists who, through their unique perspectives, contribute to a more inclusive narrative. The exhibition is also not limited to only Italian stories but will also explore Queer, Black, Asian, Indian, and/or Egyptian narratives.
