Noxte Vol VI: Beyond Basel

Originating in 2017, NOXTE’s early editions captivated audiences across Europe, with its origins in Iran. Now based in Toronto, NOXTE continues to push the boundaries of artistic expression, challenging how audiences interact with contemporary art.

As our journey with Noxte develops, we were invited to showcase a Noxte installation at Beyond Basel, a subsection of Miami’s Art Basel in 2024. This showcase featured 12 artists, all of which have, will, or currently are working with ICC and Nullsight on Noxte editions.

Each volume of Noxte spotlights Toronto’s leading creative talent while embracing the diverse perspectives of international artists, fostering a dialogue that transcends our provincial borders. With every edition, NOXTE redefines itself, exploring fresh themes and ideas to craft specialized experiences.
